Our Story

From Hunan to the World: A Journey of Hard Rock

Founded in 2003 in the heart of China’s tungsten carbide manufacturing hub—Hunan Province—MSD began with a single vision: to bridge the gap between premium-priced OEM tools and inconsistent low-cost alternatives.

For the first decade, we focused deeply on domestic mining projects, refining our heat treatment cycles and carbide grade selection in some of the toughest granite formations in Asia. By 2013, our field-tested quality met international standards, allowing us to expand globally.
