Casing Tubes

Casing Tubes

MSD casing tubes are available in 11 confirmed specifications from 108 to 325, with 1500 mm lengths, left-hand rotation, and Square Tooth or Arc Thread connections.

Product Descriptions

MSD supplies casing tubes as tubular components for drilling casing assemblies. The confirmed table contains 11 configurations from specification 108 to 325, with listed wall thickness, thread, rotation, length, and weight for each configuration.

All listed tubes are 1500 mm long with left-hand rotation. The 108 and 114 configurations use Square Tooth threads, while the listed 127–325 configurations use Arc Thread. Specification 127 is available in two confirmed wall-thickness and weight combinations, so the complete row should be checked before ordering.

Drilling Casing Tubes

Casing tubes are tubular components used within drilling casing assemblies. This page covers the tube product itself: its listed specification, wall thickness, thread, rotation, length, and weight.

A casing tube is not a complete casing system and does not define whether a project uses an eccentric, standard concentric, slide block, or wing-bit mechanism. The tube configuration must instead be checked against the selected casing assembly and its matching components.

Confirmed Casing Tube Range

The current MSD table contains 11 confirmed configurations from specification 108 to 325. Listed wall thicknesses range from 6.5 to 12 mm, and listed weights range from 27.1 to 154.7 kg.

All confirmed configurations have a listed length of 1500 mm and left-hand rotation. These endpoints summarize the table only; they do not confirm unlisted specifications, intermediate wall thicknesses, or alternative lengths.

Thread and Configuration Differences

Specifications 108 and 114 use the listed Square Tooth thread. The confirmed configurations from 127 through 325 use Arc Thread. Thread type and rotation must be matched to the required assembly rather than selected from the specification number alone.

Specification 127 appears in two rows: one with 9.5 mm wall thickness and 43.7 kg weight, and one with 6.5 mm wall thickness and 35 kg weight. This makes the complete configuration important even when the specification and product name are the same.

Role Within a Casing Assembly

Casing tubes form the tubular part of the selected drilling casing assembly. Their specification and connection must be coordinated with the casing system and with the casing shoe or other end component used in that assembly.

Mentioning these related components does not make them interchangeable product categories. Concentric and eccentric pages cover the drilling-system mechanism, while the casing-shoes page covers the casing-end component. This page remains focused on casing-tube specifications and matching.

Selection and Ordering Information

Begin with the required casing-tube specification, then confirm the wall thickness, thread type, rotation, and required length. If a listed configuration is being replaced, compare the current tube marking and measured dimensions with one complete row in the table.

For a quotation, provide the required specification, wall thickness, thread, rotation, tube length, quantity, exact casing-system or assembly information, and the matching casing-shoe details where applicable. Photos, product markings, and technical drawings should also be supplied for replacement or compatibility checks.

Why Choose MSD

MSD is a China-based rock drilling tools manufacturer supplying casing tubes, casing systems, and related drilling components. MSD has 23 years of rock drilling tools manufacturing experience, exports to 40+ countries, and operates under ISO 9001 certified quality management.

For a casing-tube enquiry, the MSD team reviews the required tube specification, wall thickness, thread, rotation, length, and related assembly information before confirming a listed configuration.

faq & answer

Frequently Asked
Questions

Casing tubes are tubular components used within drilling casing assemblies. This page covers the tube specification, wall thickness, thread, rotation, length, and weight; it does not represent a complete eccentric, concentric, slide block, or wing-bit casing system.
MSD lists 11 confirmed configurations from specification 108 to 325. All listed configurations are 1500 mm long with left-hand rotation. The table includes two specification 127 configurations with different wall thicknesses and weights, so only the exact listed rows are confirmed.
The listed 108 and 114 configurations use Square Tooth threads. The confirmed configurations from 127 to 325 use Arc Thread. Every listed configuration has left-hand rotation, and the required thread must be checked against the exact casing assembly.
Casing tubes form the tubular part of a drilling casing assembly. A casing shoe is a separate casing-end component that must be matched to the selected tube and assembly. This page is therefore optimized for casing-tube specifications, while the casing-shoes page covers shoe products and matching.
Provide the required specification, wall thickness, thread type, rotation, tube length, quantity, exact casing-system or assembly information, and matching casing-shoe details where applicable. For replacement or compatibility checks, also provide current tube markings, measured dimensions, clear photos, or technical drawings.
