Frequently Asked
Questions

The confirmed product table includes 154, 165, 171, 178, 190, and 203 mm DTH bits, giving an overall listed diameter range of 154–203 mm. This does not mean that every intermediate diameter is currently included. The required diameter should be checked against the exact listed configuration before ordering.
The confirmed Bit Shank options are MSD6A, DHD360, QL60, MISSION60, and SD6. Each Bit Shank group is currently listed in 154, 165, 171, 178, 190, and 203 mm diameters. Final selection should be based on the exact DTH hammer model and required Bit Shank rather than the nominal 6 inch size alone.
The current range includes flat and concave face designs. The 165 mm configurations use a flat face with 8 × Ø18 mm gauge buttons and 8 × Ø16 mm front buttons. The 154, 171, 178, 190, and 203 mm configurations use concave faces, with gauge-button quantities and front-button layouts varying by diameter. Button-shape descriptions and spline counts also vary by Bit Shank.
No. The hammer and bit must first use the corresponding Bit Shank: MSD6A with MSD6A, DHD360 with DHD360, QL60 with QL60, M60 with MISSION60, and SD6 with SD6. The selected bit diameter must also remain within the confirmed hole range of the exact hammer model. Some listed configurations, including 154 mm MSD6A and QL60 bits and 203 mm DHD360, QL60, and SD6 bits, require separate confirmation because they fall outside the current confirmed ranges of the corresponding hammer models.
Provide the required bit diameter and finished hole diameter, exact hammer model, Bit Shank, current bit model or marking, available photos or drawings, rock formation, drilling application, operating conditions, preferred face and button configuration, and required quantity. For replacement orders, the existing hammer model, Bit Shank, current bit details, and confirmed hammer hole range are especially important.
